Below are the 2025 excel spreadsheet templates for small businesses and farms to track your income and expenses.

We understand that some of you may be using another format, like QuickBooks or 

already have a spreadsheet that you are using, but if this can help you, please use it.

More and more clients are using this to help organize and prepare
year-end business statements for personal tax returns.

The government has recently made changes in how we are able to gain authorization to act as your representative.  
Unfortunately, these changes prevent us from requesting authorization, rather it puts the responsibility on yourselves 

as business owners to grant us authorization.

Granting our firm authorization to act as your representative allows us:

• to speak with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) on your behalf
• file forms such as HST Returns 
• respond to government requests for information electronically

To get you on your way to allowing our firm authorization with the CRA, 

we are providing you documents and website links to walk you through the process: 

• Step 1: You will need to register for a CRA User ID and password at 
• https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/e-services/cra-login-services.html

• Step 2: Register for My Business Account at 
• https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/e-services/digital-services-businesses/business-account.html

• Step 3: Authorize the firm Karen Jakubos Professional Corporation

As of July 15, 2025, CRA requires individuals to grant representative access directly through their CRA My Account.
